Monthly Music Talents in Town

The Fredericksburg Music Club is preparing eight monthly concerts for Texas Hill Country area residents, offering a diverse range of instrumentation, genres and perspectives.

Beginning at 3 p.m. the third Sunday of each month in the sanctuary of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 N. Llano St., the 2025-2026 season’s programs will run from September through May.

 

VITALY STARIKOV

CONCERT PIANIST SEPT. 21 Starikov, a Cliburn International Piano Competition silver medalist, began his musical career at age 3. He then attended the Ural Musical School for Gifted Children, before making his concerto debut at age 10 with the Ural State Russian Folk Orchestra.

 

DANIEL PARDO

FLUTIST OCT. 19 Pardo’s program combines classical music with Latin jazz and world music for audiences of all ages. Pardo is a former U.S. military musician, and is a professor of flute at Prairie View A&M University. His 2024 recording of Central American Boleros with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and rhythm section was awarded Gold medals in the Instrumentalist and Album categories by the Global Music Awards.

 

AGARITA CHAMBER ENSEMBLE

NOV. 16 Founded by Daniel Anastasio, piano; Marisa Bushman, viola; Ignacio Gallego, cello, and Sarah Silver Manske, violin, the ensemble is known for its artistic collaborations and community engagement.

 

TEXAS GUITAR QUARTET

JAN. 18 Formed in 2009, the Grammy Award-nominated Texas Guitar Quartet was called “impeccable in every respect” by Classical Guitar Magazine. The group has performed throughout the United States, Central America, Spain and China.

 

LINDSAY AND JASON

VIOLIN AND PIANO DUO FEB. 15 Lindsey Deutsch and Jason Stoll are known for their wide range of musical interests, from classical to jazz to today’s hits.

 

SERAPH BRASS QUINTET

MARCH 15 The quintet, now in its 11th season, was founded by trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden to highlight women brass players and highlight musicians from all backgrounds. Other group members include Raquel Samayoa, trumpet; Layan Atieh, French horn; Layen Casey-Clyde, trombone, and Robyn Black, tuba.

 

CARION WIND QUINTET

APRIL 19 The award winning Danish-Latvian ensemble seeks to bring an innovative chamber music experience to audiences. Carion is composed of flutist Dóra Seres, oboe player Egils Upatnieks, clarinetist Egīls Šēfers, French horn player David M.A.P. Palmquist and bassoon player Niels Anders Vesten Larsen.

 

THOMAS PANDOLFI

PIANIST MAY 17 American pianist Thomas Pandolfi is known for his passionate artistry and amazing technique. His concerts feature works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Chopin, Liszt and Gershwin.
