The Fredericksburg Light the Night Christmas Parade will kick off the holiday season on Friday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. The parade is presented by H-E-B and produced by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.
The annual parade is expected to feature over 150 floats this year. The procession will travel on Main Street, from Washington to Bowie streets. Free seating is available along the parade route. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
Reserved bleacher seating in front of Pioneer Memorial Library will be available for purchase in the fall. Float entry forms will also be available at that time.
In case of inclement weather, the parade will be rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 12.
AFTERGLOW
AfterGlow will host post-parade festivities at Marktplatz. Santa will be present for free pictures, in the Peppermint Platz area of the Adelsverein Halle. There will also be food, beverages and holiday music.
