Antique Tractor Show set for May 20
The annual Antique Machinery Show at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds, Saturday, May 20, will show visitors how work was done during the early days of the century. The show will open at 8 a.m.

29th Wildflower run/walk
Runners can celebrate Texas Wildflower Day in the Hill Country by competing in the 29th Annual Fredericksburg Wildflower Run/Walk on Saturday, April 22. Competitors will follow a scenic course in and around Fredericksburg that begins and ends downtown at Marktplatz. There will be parking, restrooms and registration available on race day. There will be a 5K and 10K run and 5K walk this year.

Warm weather and culture greet visitors
Colorful wildflowers, juicy peaches, delectable wines and a whole lot of Gemütlichkeit (warmth and friendliness). These are a part of what makes Gillespie County and Fredericksburg such an appealing place for more than 1.5 million visitors each year. People come to experience all of the above, plus the National Museum of the Pacific War (a Smithsonian affiliate and first-class museum), art galleries, Main Street shops, burgeoning restaurant scene and Luckenbach’s legendary, laid-back environment.
